I can't believe you are six months old already, Matthew! Where did the time go?
You are such a fun little boy and we love you so much. You've brought us some challenges but also a lot of joy!
At six months,
- You can roll both directions easily, push yourself towards your head while laying on your back by pushing with your legs, and you continue to love doing "baby sit-ups". You haven't figured out crawling yet, which is a-ok with us! Standing & looking around is still one of your favorite things to do.
- You are very happy, smiley, and love to be around people. Your favorite toys are your exersaucer, monkey, octopus, and you love to look at and read books.
- You are getting a lot more hair! You also have your first tooth on your bottom gums. I'm thankful you haven't quite figured out how to use it yet.
- You continue to be a very good eater. You definitely knew what a spoon was for! You have tried rice cereal, oatmeal cereal, and peas so far. You are working on getting back into your sleeping patterns after a growth spurt, cereal, the tooth, and shots.
The past six months have been quite the whirlwind, but we wouldn't have changed one thing. We are so happy to be your parents and we love you more each day!
