Ten Months Old!

Wow! Matthew, you have hit the double digits! You are ten months old today! And not unlike a few other months*, we are doing something fun to celebrate! By the time this gets posted (yes, your mom sometimes "cheats" and writes ahead ...) we will be in an airport waiting to see your great-grandma e!







At TEN months,

- You are quite the gross-motor kid! You have learned how to crawl up stairs AND have taken your first steps in the last month!

- You have gone through a major growth spurt since Christmas! Most of your 3M & some of your 3-6M pants are too short! You are mostly wearing 6M tops now too.

- You are starting to like more table foods too. Among the things you've tried are crackers, cheese, pasta, bananas, and yogurt. You are also starting to become a little more proficient with the sippy cup since we changed brands. Good thing you now have 8 teeth to help you chew with!

- You are so much fun to play with! You still love peekaboo, especially behind the curtains in our dining room. You are now also liking to be the person in charge of the game, peeking at us from behind couches and the like. Your other favorite toys at the moment are your walking toy, your new bath toys, and your myriad of telephones. :)

- You also are expressing your personality a lot more - laughing & babbling all the time. We hear a lot of "ma ma ma ma ma's and da da da da da's" but we're not sure if you know what you're saying.

You are so much fun and such a joy to be around. We love you so much! Welcome to the double digits!
