Eleven Months Old!

Wow! The past month has gone awfully quick with our trip to Arizona and a few bunches of visitors since we've been home! I can't believe that in a month you will be one! Impossible! Don't get me started!






So, at eleven months,

- You are walking most of the time, getting faster & more proficient each day! You can also turn around, walk backwards, and your balance is excellent! You are also enjoying pushing your highchair & our chairs around the kitchen. :)

- The other gross motor activity you enjoy is "dancing" to just about any kind of music or noise. Your favorite thing to dance to/with is your Valentine "sugar pie honey bunch" bear from your Great Great Aunt Jibby. :)

- You are also starting to learn how to wave. It's pretty cute!

- You continue to enjoy pureed baby food. You have tried carrots, chicken, yogurt, bread, peaches, and pears in the last month. You still have the 8 teeth.

- You had your first "real" cold the week after the Superbowl. You had a tough couple of nights but luckily you're back to your happy self! We did bring you in to the doctor to make sure your lungs were clear (they were!) and learned that you now weigh 18# 4oz!

- You are definitely showing more of your personality. You get very excited and laugh about just about anything! We know when you are really excited when you reach your arms up/out and ball your little hands up into little fists. It is so adorable!

- And I am saving the best for last! You are such an affectionate little boy. You always are willing to share your toys, love to "kiss the baby" (mirrors in books), and you have learned to "blow kisses" by smacking your lips together. You are quite the flirt. :). You also like to lean in for a kiss after mom & dad have kissed each other and enjoy "group hugs"! :)

Eleven months have gone by in the blink of an eye, but we wouldn't have traded it for anything! We hope you know how much we love you and how happy you make us!
