Twenty-three months old!

Well, little man, I can hardly believe it, but you are just ONE month away from TWO! So, at twenty-three months,

- You are such a sweet little guy! You love to give kisses especially when you are tired. You also like to blow kisses and you have just recently figured out the "blow" part as before you would just kiss your hand and move it away from your mouth.

- We think you are going to have eyes like your momma. Sometimes they are blue and sometimes they are green.

- You love to play with blankets, pillows, and making forts. You are such a little boy!

- You seem to be eating more with your left hand, although you are getting very proficient with both! I guess we will have to wait & see!

- You had such a fun time at Grandma G's school last week! You are getting very smart and figuring out how everything works!

- You are a very helpful little guy. You love to push in chairs, throw things in the garbage, and open mail!

- You are just about due for your first real haircut. It is getting curly in back and getting long!

- You are such a happy little guy and wake up well rested! Usually after naps or in the mornings we hear "hi hi hi" on the monitor. So so cute!

- Last but not least in the last month your vocabulary has taken off! Probably the cutest thing is when we say "Matthew, how old are you going to be?" and you cross your middle & index fingers (no idea why!) and say "Two!". A couple of new words & phrases in the last month ...
