Two months old!

Hard to believe our little guy is two months old already! We had our 2 month doctor appointment yesterday and everything checked out well! You did pretty well with your first set of shots even though you shed your first real tears! Here are your stats -

Weight - 9# 14.5oz (6th percentile)
Height - 23 1/8in (56th percentile)
Head Circumference - 14 7/8in (14th percentile)

(just because I know inquiring minds want to know, you are a little lighter and a little longer than your brother was at this age)

So, at two months,

- You have done a pretty good job of keeping yourself on a schedule. You sleep pretty well at night, typically from 10-3 and 4-7 or 8. Naps are a little less predictable but you are a great eater and eat 6-7 times a day. We have just started to give you a bottle which has gone ok.

- You are just now fitting into 0-3m clothes and size 1 diapers.

- Some days it looks like your eyes are more green, although I'd still bet on blue if I was a betting person.

- You have the sweetest smiles when you are falling asleep. It melts my heart every time!

- You are tracking objects quite well these days and follow voices well too!

- You are getting a little more "active" during your awake time as well. You love to look at lights, "stand" putting weight through your feet, look at your "guys" while playing with your play gym, and love rolling onto your side too. Tummy time is not a huge favorite of yours but we try to get it in everyday anyway.

- You are generally a very good, calm baby. You spit up just a bit after feedings and definitely have a different tired vs hungry cry.

- You are getting more defined features. The cutest chubby cheeks and the longest eyelashes ( just like your big brother and aunt-e) to name two.

- Just in the past couple of days I have wondered if you are going to suck your thumb. Sometimes after feeding you'll try to get your hand to your mouth and will start to lick it. It's pretty cute!

Daniel, you have brought us so much joy and we couldn't imagine being any happier as a family of four! We love you so much!
