Six Months Old!

Daniel,

How is it possible that today is your half birthday already? I can not believe how fast time has flown! You are such a happy baby and such a wonderful addition to our family! We love you so much!

Stats:

Weight - 14# 10.5oz (5th percentile)
Height - 26.5 in (43rd percentile)
Head Circumference - 16.5in (12th percentile)

So, at six months,

You love to play peekaboo around a corner or behind a spit rag or while your brother is in the bathtub. You have the cutest little giggle!

You now have two teeth - bottom front. You got them both in two weeks but you were a trooper and didn't fuss too much!

You LOVE to munch on your feet. It's very cute. A few days when your teeth were poking through and you were a little cranky I took your foot out of your pajamas and let you chew on them and you were much happier! :)

You are VERY ticklish under your arms. Just a tiny tickle will bring the cutest sweetest giggle out of you.

You are growing up way too fast! Now you can sit supported! Some times are better than others of course but I think you've been able to sit for a few minutes at a time!

Also on the motor front, you can turn in a full circle while you are on your tummy! I hate to admit it, but I think you'll be crawling and chasing after your big brother in no time!

You are on a pretty nice schedule these days. You usually eat 5-6 times a day and take 3 usually 1.5-2 hour naps a day. You typically go to bed around 9pm. About half the time you will sleep until 5-6:30ish and the rest of the time you are up once between 3-4:30. You typically will go back to sleep until 7 unless you sleep until 6:30 or later. We will probably start you on cereal in the next little bit.

We just switched you into size 2 diapers!

You continue to be all over the place on clothes! You are a funny kiddo to dress just like your big brother was! You still wear 0-3m or 3m pants. Onesies you wear 3m. PJ's and other one-pieces some of the 3m ones still fit but se of the 3-6m ones are too short! Yikes! :)

You continue to be very content, happy, and smiley! You are the sweetest little guy around and we love you so much!
