Dear Daniel,

Well, after today you will be closer to three than two! We can hardly believe it! You are such a sweet little boy and we love you so much!

Here's a few new things about you!

- When you are trying to say "thank you" you say "welcome" but it sounds like "gum" for some reason! It is too cute and now we finally know what you have been trying to say!

- Each morning I ask you if you had any dreams, usually you say "momma" and then I say "what were we doing in your dreams?" and you say "play". Too sweet!

- One day after we brought Matthew to school I was putting you in your car seat and I asked you "when you get big are you going to go to school?" and you replied "no, home play momma". What a little honey!

- Around our anniversary you got your first sickness! Matthew had an ear infection and you ended up with croup! Poor guy, luckily it didn't bother you too much once we got you some medication. A couple weeks later you had a double ear infection. Luckily you have been healthy now for over a month!

- When it's time for a meal, nap, or time to go and you would rather not, you look at us and say "mint" which means "one more minute please" Such a funny guy!

- You are a very loving and affectionate little boy! You love to give hugs and kisses. You run full force with both arms out to your sides and fling them around whoever you are hugging. Too cute!

- You are still a pretty laid back easygoing little guy but you are starting to show your silly and spunky side. One funny think you have been doing lately is throwing your stuffed animals, blanket, and pillow out of the bed. Funny!

- You are starting to talk so much more! You are stringing lots of two and three word phrases together. Just this morning I heard you say "throw guys", "shirt itch", and "fall hurt arm" (don't worry, just a little spill at the park). We just taught you how to say "two half" for answering "how old are you?"

Such a fun age and we are having such a fun summer! Happy 2.5 little guy! We love you so much!
