Four Months Old!

I admit it, I didn't believe everyone who told me while I was pregnant "they grow up so fast" and "enjoy them while they are little" and so on and so forth. But, you all were right. Time has FLOWN by! More appropriately, one of Dave's coworkers said it best at a gathering last week "The days are long but the weeks and months are short". He was right, it seems like just a week or so ago we took your 3 month picture on Father's Day!

At four months old you are such a little person already. Your personality is very curious, determined, and happy. You love to be the center of attention. You like to be read to, sung to, and taken for walks. Your dad takes you for a lot of walks at night looking for deer near our house. You are tolerating tummy time much better and love to be moving all.the.time. You love to stand and look around at everything you can see with your big blue eyes. You are such a joy and we give thanks every day that we get to be your parents. We love you, Matthew Allen, but could you stop growing up so fast?




Also, a year ago TODAY we found out we were pregnant! Who knew back then all the joy and craziness the next year would bring?
